About and sources

The one rule

Nothing is published here without a source you can click. Every entry names where the fact came from and the date it was checked. If no reliable source says a thing, the thing is not on the site, even when every other site has it.

The four source levels

Every page carries one of these labels, in plain words, at the top.

Official source. Rockstar Games, Take-Two, the PlayStation Store, or the Xbox Store said it themselves. This is the strongest level. 32 of the 89 entries on this site sit here.
Major press. A large publication with a named reporter published it. Strong, but not the publisher's own word.
Community source. Players or fan researchers spotted it in a trailer or a screenshot. Useful, and clearly marked as weaker.
No source. Nothing reaches the site at this level. It is listed only so you know the scale is complete.

What this site will not do

Publish a leak, a rumour, or a datamine as though it were a fact.
Guess a release date, a price, a file size, or a map size.
Pretend to have played a game that nobody has played.
Fill an empty field with a number copied from an older GTA game.

When something is wrong

Rockstar announces things often, and a page that was right in the morning can be wrong by evening. Every page shows the date its source was last checked. If you find something out of date or plainly wrong, the contact page is the fastest way to tell us, and corrections go up the same day.

Who runs it

This is an independent site run by one person. It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, and it speaks for neither. All trademarks belong to their owners.
