Two editions, one pre-order bonus

Rockstar sells Grand Theft Auto VI in two versions. There is a Standard Edition and an Ultimate Edition. On top of those there is a free pre-order pack called the Vintage Vice City Pack, which is not sold on its own.

That is the whole list. There is no collector’s box, no steelbook and no season pass announced. If you see one advertised, it is not Rockstar’s.

What Rockstar confirmed

The editions, the prices and the bonus contents were all published by Rockstar itself, on its own Newswire, on the day pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026. The same details appear on the PlayStation Store listing and in Rockstar’s own support article about platforms and versions. That makes them about as solid as pre-release information gets.

In plain terms:

  • The Standard Edition is the game, nothing else.
  • The Ultimate Edition is the game plus extra in-game content: vehicles, weapons, clothing, businesses, and two extra side missions.
  • The Vintage Vice City Pack is free with any pre-order placed before 20 November 2026, on either edition. It adds a 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan and a garage to keep it in, early access to Ocean Beach, outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a themed weapon pattern.

Buy digitally and you also get one free month of GTA+, Rockstar’s subscription.

What the Ultimate Edition does not do

This matters, because it is the question people ask most.

The Ultimate Edition does not let you play early. Both editions unlock on 19 November 2026. It is not a season pass either. Rockstar has not announced any paid expansion for GTA 6, so nothing here buys you future content. What you are paying for is a bundle of extras that exist inside the game on day one.

Whether that is worth the difference is a judgement, not a fact, and this site does not make it for you. What it can tell you is exactly what is in the box.

Prices are not one number

The price depends on where you live, and not every country’s price came from Rockstar directly.

The United States prices, 79.99 and 99.99 US dollars, are official. The United Kingdom prices were reported by the technology press. The prices for India, Europe, Canada and Australia came from press coverage rather than a Rockstar page, so they are marked lower on this site and you should check your own store before you count on them.

That distinction is the point of this site. A price is not more true because it is printed in a bigger font.

What is still unknown

Rockstar has not said whether editions can be upgraded after purchase, whether the Ultimate content will later be sold separately, or what happens to the pre-order pack after 20 November 2026. There is no announced PC edition at all, so there is no PC price to give.
