What Rockstar has actually confirmed

Rockstar has published official character biographies for Grand Theft Auto VI on its own site, rockstargames.com. That page is the source for everything below. It names two lead characters and a small circle of people around them in Vice City and the Leonida Keys. Every entry here comes from that page, not from a leak, a guess, or an old GTA game.

Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are the two playable leads. Rockstar’s own bios describe Jason as a former Army serviceman who ended up working for drug runners in the Leonida Keys, and Lucia as a woman recently released from Leonida Penitentiary who wants a better life for her family. Their meeting is the center of the story Rockstar has chosen to show the public. Nothing beyond that has been confirmed about how their story plays out, because nobody outside Rockstar has played the game.

The supporting cast Rockstar has named

Around Jason and Lucia, Rockstar’s bios name a small group of people tied to specific parts of Leonida. In the Keys, there is Brian Heder, an older drug runner who lets Jason live rent free in exchange for help with local shakedowns, his wife Lori, and Cal Hampton, Jason’s friend, who Rockstar describes as a homebody who monitors Coast Guard radio chatter. In Vice City, there is Boobie Ike, a local businessman with interests in real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio, and his partner Dre’Quan Priest, who runs the music side of their label, Only Raw Records. That label’s first signed act is a rap duo, Real Dimez, made up of Roxy and Bae-Luxe, two friends who Rockstar says built a following with an early hit alongside a local rapper named DWNPLY. Separately, Rockstar names Raul Bautista, an experienced bank robber the bios describe as confident, charming, and reckless.

Why some names have less detail than others

Not every name on this page gets the same depth of official biography. Jason, Lucia, Boobie Ike, Cal Hampton, Brian Heder, Dre’Quan Priest, and Raul Bautista each have their own dedicated write-up from Rockstar. A few others are confirmed only because Rockstar mentions them inside somebody else’s biography. Lori Heder is named as Brian’s wife within his own bio, and she does not have a separate page. DWNPLY is named only within the Real Dimez write-up, as the rapper behind an early hit that helped Roxy and Bae-Luxe get noticed. Roxy and Bae-Luxe themselves are presented together as one act rather than as two separate biographies. That is still official confirmation. It just means less has been said about them individually than about the two leads.

What is not known yet

Rockstar has not published a full cast list. The characters here are the ones its own site has named, nothing more. There is no confirmed list of playable characters beyond Jason and Lucia, no confirmed voice cast, and no confirmed mission structure tying these characters together. Any claim about a bigger cast, a specific actor, or how these people fit into missions is guesswork until Rockstar says otherwise, and this page will not repeat that guesswork as fact.

How this page will change

More characters will almost certainly be named between now and launch on 19 November 2026, most likely through new trailers, a future gameplay showcase, or additional pages on Rockstar’s own site. When that happens, this hub gets updated and new character pages get added below. Until then, the honest answer is that this is the complete list Rockstar has put its name to, and no more.
